The Dining Room
The Dining Room now has its own vegetable garden! Trevor & Matt have swapped Kenwoods and spatulas for rotovators and spades. If you peer down the garden you’ll see our fledgling vegetable patch.
They set to and dug up the lawn on the 8th July and to our complete astonishment began harvesting radishes just three weeks later! Currently on the specials board – they’re delicious!
And now if you order a Pimms don’t be too surprised if you see the barman leave the building and head off down the garden, he’ll just be picking a sprig of fresh mint for you – how’s that for a low carbon footprint?! Next up will be beetroot, the “new” wonder plant.
We are however, a little worried about the giant pumpkin – as yet only one inch tall. All of a sudden Halloween seems rather close….

Things seem to move fast at Wagamama – the Asian inspired, noodle restaurant chain that was started in 1992. As soon as you decide what you want to eat, your order is taken via a PDA, and wirelessly networked to the kitchen, so it can be made fresh and served right after.
